Hetzner Provider: Introduction, Installation & Configuration Guide
Installing the Hetzner Provider
The Hetzner provider is just a regular WordPress plugin – upload and activate it from the WordPress PLUGINS screen.
Configuring the Hetzner Provider
The Hetzner provider needs connection and security information before it can be used.
You can provide this information under WPCLOUD DEPLOY → SETTINGS → CLOUD PROVIDERS → Hetzner. There are several steps to this process:
- Enter your API key – you can obtain this from your HETZNER CLOUD dashboard. API keys are unique to each Hetzner project.
- Click the SAVE BUTTON
- Click the SAVE BUTTON AGAIN. This will cause the SSH keys area to show up.
- Enter the PUBLIC portion and PRIVATE portion of your ssh key pair into the respective fields.
- Enter the key password if one is used on the key-pair.
- Click the SAVE BUTTON
- Click the SAVE BUTTON AGAIN.
Using the HETZNER Provider
Once the provider has been configured with its connection and API information, it will appear as an option when deploying a new server.

Known Issues
No Filter For ARM Servers
When choosing a server size, ARM servers will show up in the list. These are NOT supported at this time. They are showing up because the Hetzner PHP API does not yet support the ability to filter the list. You can recognize these servers because their names start with CAX and, right now, seem to show up at the bottom of the list.
