Ubuntu 20.04 Notes
WPCD includes full support for Ubuntu 20.04 with both the NGINX and OpenLiteSpeed web servers.
Installation
To install Ubuntu 20.04 with a new server, use the drop-down option on the server deployment screen:
Global Settings
There is an option in SETTINGS to make 20.04 LTS the default:
However, please note that if any of your sites are currently on Ubuntu 20.04 servers, it’s time to start moving them to servers running at least Ubuntu 22.04 – before April 2025 arrives.
This is because Canonical, the publishers of Ubuntu, will cease to update it for free in April 2025 (though you can still get updates as part of it’s paid ‘extended support’ service.)
